Client Data Access Information

Warning:
All users must save and transfer their data and images from the local computer to the SFTP file server at the end of each microscopy session.

It is strongly recommended that users download their data and images from the SFTP file server to their own computers within seven days after completion of each microscopy session. The Electron Microscopy Center will not be responsible for any data loss due to failure to download data within the recommended time or server malfunctions.

For PC Users

How To Access And Download Your Data From The SFTP Server :
To access and download your data and images from the SFTP file server to your own computer, use the Secure Shell File Transfer Protocol (SSH).

To download the SSH client software to your computer go to ftp://siri.biol.sc.edu
Look for SSHSecureShellClient-3.2.9.exe.

For instructions on how to set up your SSH client on your computer and access the SFTP server, click here ( PDF, 15 kbs).

For Mac Users
