FEI/Phillips XL30 ESEM

The FEI/Phillips XL30 ESEM is a computer-controlled environmental scanning electron microscope and capable of imaging in high vacuum as well as environmental mode.

This SEM is primarily used for imaging biological and nonbiological specimens. The ESEM is equipped with cathodoluminescence, backscattered electron detection, and a TSL electron backscatter diffraction system.
