SERVICES AND FEE STRUCTURES

The Electron Microscopy Center provides all routine microscopy specimen preparation support for biological and materials science related specimens. Any extensive or non-standard specimen preparation procedures must be discussed with the EMC staff. Potential use of any hazardous specimens must be reported ahead of time. Recharge supplies are normally billed. However, users are welcome to supply materials for their own use. The major instruments are charged on an hourly basis and any staff support time is added to the instrument use. Specimen preparation is charged for each specimen and it also includes staff support time.

• Private industry: $200.00 per hour flat rate
